Conventional searches for biomarkers are performed only in protein-coding regions of the human genome, which represent only 16% of the total amount of RNA present in a sample. In contrast, GenomeDx platform employs high-resolution, whole-genome analysis approach to profile RNA expression signatures. This optimized technology provides a quantitative and unbiased method for screening over 1 million individual RNA molecules from genes and non-coding regions of the human genome.
